So, I’ve taken a much needed social media break, and I was able to really recharge and enjoy the last few summer weeks as well as focus on moving into my new apartment. (Be on the lookout for an NYC apartment post!) However, it’s so good to be back in the digital world!
With Fashion Week being next month, I’ve been thoroughly scoping out trends for the events. One things for sure, the cold-shoulder and off-the-shoulder top will be making a few more seasonal rounds! I’ve always been a fan of these tops because they go with just about anything and look fantastic on any body type. Although the OTS top is crowned as a summer staple, it can be effortlessly carried into the next season with a little layering and accessorizing!
For this first look, I complemented the Closet Staple top’s white pinstripes with this BCBG vest-dress. This vest cool because you can wear it open for a layered look or close it and as a structured shift dress. I had to double-up on stripes with this pink, black, and white silk scarf tied around the matching bow handbag. Although baby pink, baby blue, and white are typically spring hues, I love breaking the rules and giving them a autumn upgrade!

Similar to the first look, I pulled some black accents into the outfit to give it a chic, fall-fashion approach. Of course, I had to go back to the bows and add this ultra-girly pair of Valentino platforms. Knee-length pencil skirts and platforms are such a winning combo for the illusion of a long, lean stride!
