The holidays are in full swing, and as you can see above, I’m wearing the dress on to match it! Like I said in my previous post, I’m back in Alabama for a bit; therefore, I’m unable to enjoy a New York City Christmas. I am, however, spending it with my family, which has been far more meaningful and heart-warming! No matter where in the world you are, there may be a holiday event to attend. I’ve created a last-minute wardrobe guide to get you through them fashionably and fabulous.
Just because it has to be professional doesn’t mean it has to be boring! Instead of a structured LBD (which is typically an easy go-to) opt for a cranberry or red a-line to stand out. Add black accessories to keep it chic, but bring back the festiveness with fun embellishments.
Perfect for holiday housewarmings, ugly-Christmas sweater parties, luncheons, or any event where a cocktail dress might be a little uncomfortable. But knowing me, I’m not going to get too cas, and I’m throwing in metallics, faux-furs, leathers, and embellishments.
That event where anything goes for fashion! Instead of the expected sequin dress, try a sequin pantsuit! Make it flirty and feminine with bow and fur touches.
For the most glamorous event on your list. Maybe you’re lucky enough to attend the New York Botanical Garden Winter Wonderland Ball; either way, there’s nothing more delightful than getting formally festive for the holidays!
